ByCity are one of the first retro style helmet brands to release ECE R22.06 certified helmets.. Yay!!! They are actually in our warehouse now.. oooh!!
Basically over above the R22:05 standard, R22.06 certified helmets are designed to help improve helmet safety and ensure if we ever have rely on the helmet, that head and brain injuries are minimised even further. So good stuff! (come in store, or give us a shout online or the phone if you want more detail on the testing standard, we can be as geeky as you like! 🤓)
Do all ByCity helmet models now come as R22.06 as standard?..
Well no. Initially all of the retro scrambler, MX style, helmets will, The Rock model, and half of the Roadster models, including two new designs called the Wing.

Has anything changed with the new models?
The full face helmets now come in two shell sizes, so should ensure a low profile fit for every size in the range. Everything else remains unchanged; fit, design, shape, trims etc.
When will the rest of the ByCity ranges be R22.06 certified?
The rest of the Roadster models will be in the next three months, along with the 180Tech flip helmet. The Two Strokes open face helmet will follow later.
What else is new?
How about the two new funky helmet designs reminding us of the summer of the 70's just in time for our summer.. ☀️
The two new models are called Wing, one is Matt Black and Yellow and the other is Gloss Ivory and Oxblood.
